Why I built this
Tax filing in India is opaque. Most people don't know which deductions apply to them, so they overpay without realizing it. I wanted a tool that reads your numbers, checks them against the actual sections of the Income Tax Act, and tells you in plain English what you're missing.
What this does
- Finds legal deductions you qualify for.
- Cites the exact section of the Income Tax Act behind each one.
- Explains what it found in plain English.
What this doesn't do
- It doesn't file your return for you.
- It isn't a Chartered Accountant, and it isn't a substitute for one.
- Always verify with a CA before you file.
